Ahmed Jehad Saeed Binsahoo AL Suwaidi


Ahmed Jehad Saeed Binsahoo Al Suwaidi is VP – Asset Management at Etihad Water & Electricity (EtihadWE). He has been at EtihadWE for nine years, having held a range of strategic planning and engineering roles before being appointed to his current role at the beginning of 2024. Prior to EtihadWE, he worked in engineering roles at Schlumberger.

Ahmed has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering obtained at Pennsylvania State University in the USA and a Masters in Engineering Systems Management from American University of Sharjah. While at Penn State, he achieved “dean’s list” two years running resulting in his academic achievements being recognized by the UAE Embassy with a letter of excellency. Ahmed was selected for and participated in the UAE Government Leader’s Program in 2018, a scheme which identifies and develops the next generation of Emirati leaders.

Outside of work, he has been an active participant for over 11 years in THON – a fundraising organization aiming to conquer pediatric cancer through emotional and financial support – and during his studies volunteered as a student organizer for the UAE student summit in Washington DC.
