Boushra Barakat

Boushra Barakat is an Environmental and Sustainability Senior Consultant at AECOM with over six years of experience in the field. She holds a Ph.D. focused on Waste Management Reverse Logistics Networks from the American University of Beirut and a Master’s degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering with a focus on Project Management from Syracuse University. Boushra served as the Managing Director of the Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC), a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works on advancing clean energy in the MENA region. Prior to that, she served as a Project Associate on the RE-MED project, an international waste management and circular economy initiative funded by the European Union.
