Calum Perey

Calum is a principal structural engineer at Cundall with work and educational experience over the world. Holding dual degrees in Civil Engineering and Business Management from the University of Queensland, Australia. He joined the Cundall Dubai Structures team in 2017.

Calum is a motivated engineer who enjoys researching, learning, teaching and developing new innovative techniques within both structural design and the built environment. His main areas of interest include parametric 3D modelling and optimisation.

Calum is also an active member within the Institution of Structural Engineers (IstructE) UAE regional group and global council. He is currently co-leading an assessment of structural embodied carbon within existing assets in the UAE, in collaboration with other committee members of the UAE Carbon study group.
